This is one of the most popular and easy to use 5S manuals on the market. One nice feature is that it is available in ebook as well a hardcover format. The ebook makes it easy to have numerous copies in the shop or office.

Since it was first published, the 5S Implementation Manual has been in the top 5 rating for 5S books on Amazon, which is no small feat! This is probably because it is easy to use.

You can use this manual to begin your lean manufacturing process because 5S is surely the best way to begin. 5S makes sense to just about anyone, and once the others in the organization see the immediate results, they will become interested.

Usually 5S is geared toward manufacturing, but this manual can be used by any type of company in any sector.

As a benefit, the publishers have a follow-up program to monitor your progress over time. This is a great feature because 5S is easy to implement, but more difficult to maintain. You will get a sort of periodic check-up to see how you are doing with your program.

The 5S Implementation Manual comes with an unconditional guarantee, which is nice. You won't need it though. If you did, however, you get a refund with no questions asked. I doubt they get many requests.

These 5S pillars are throroughly covered and made so simple to use that one reviewer told how his 9 year old son "fixed up" his room using the manual! Not that it is simplistic, but it is just not complicated.
